Mr. U K Singhal
Mr. U K Singhal is the founder promoter of ‘Sigma Legal Group’ supported by Professionals from multifarious fields of their excellence.
‘SIGMA LEGAL GROUP’ comprises a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals. On its panel, it has Advocates (Civil, Criminal and Corporate), Insolvency Professionals, Company Secretaries and Chartered Accountants. The detail of Key Personnel of the team is given below:
Mr. U K Singhal is an Insolvency Professional registered with IBBI. He has got rich experience of more than 27 years in Legal and Corporate matters. He is the founder promoter of Sigma Legal Group. He is an Advocate practicing with Delhi High Court, NCLT and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (1994 batch). He set-up “Sigma Legal Group” and soon expanded his team by adding more and more qualified Professionals into his team and diversified into Business & Corporate Litigation as a Corporate Advocate.
With the vast experience and contacts in the Corporate Sector, he got in-depth knowledge and experience of successful litigation in the related fields of law. His core area of practice includes IBC, CIRP, Corporate Laws, Intellectual Property Right (IPR) Law and Arbitration proceedings. He is also acting as legal advisor to various big corporate houses and banks. He has good knowledge and skill of using technology for the betterment of Corporate Sector. It is a result of his slog and supervision that Sigma Legal Group has got engaged by so many Indian as well as Foreign clients (Based in Canada, US, Netherland, Singapore etc.).
Mr. Akshit Gupta
Mr. Akshit Gupta is a Post Graduate from Commerce stream and a Law Graduate as well. He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (Year 2008 batch). He is also a Diploma holder in MBA-Finance. He is also registered Trade Mark Attorney.
Currently he is practicing as a Company Secretary with a rich experience of about 15 years in all Company law matters. His core area of practice includes Corporate Laws, ROC matters, Intellectual Property Right (IPR) Laws and liaisoning with ROC, NCLT, Trademark Registry, RD, Official Liquidator, Reserve Bank of India, MCA etc. He has a good grip on Merger and Amalgamations and Legal Due Diligence for acquisition and restructuring of the Companies.
He joined Sigma Legal as an intern and with continuous growth, now heading CS & Legal Corporate divisions since last few years as Managing Partner of Sigma Legal.
With the vast experience and contacts in corporate sector other professionals like Company Secretaries & Chartered Accountants; he got in-depth knowledge and experience of Secretarial Audit, Compliances for Client Companies and Corporate & and rendering of Consultancy on Secretarial, Company Law, Taxation & FEMA matters.
Mr. Archit Singhal
Mr. Archit Singhal is a Post Graduate in Law (LLM) and also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is also a MBA (Finance) from IIBM. He is also the registered Trade Mark Attorney.
Currently he is practicing as an Advocate with specialization in Criminal Laws and critical matters. Besides this, his area of practice includes Civil & Criminal Litigation etc. As a part of his law journey, he has worked with Judges of various Courts and also had experience of working with the Directorate of Prosecution with various Public Prosecutors.
His core area of practice includes dealing in Criminal Matters, Matrimonial matters, Property disputes and civil matters. He also has the knowledge and experience of Trademark & Copyrights, Management disputes etc. He is now heading Legal Litigation Division as Managing Partner of Sigma Legal.
Mrs. Parul Garg
Mrs. Parul Garg is a commerce graduate and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She is also a Law Graduate. As a Company Secretary, she holds experience in the field of Corporate Law Compliances, Scrutinizer, ROC matters, FEMA Compliances, Takeovers, Business setup Services, Compounding, Liaisoning and obtaining approvals from ROC, RD, OL and Ministry of Corporate Affairs etc. She also holds a good experience of listing compliances and routine Company Law Compliances.
She is associated with Sigma Legal Group as ‘Head-CS & IPR Division’.
Ms. Asmita Duggal
Ms. Asmita Duggal is a Graduate in Law and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi. Her core areas of practice are in majorly NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, RERA, District & Session Courts and various Forums in Delhi as well as other states of India. She is practicing in all legal matters specifically in IBC matters, CIRP Process, Promoters’ Disputes, Arbitration, Cheque Bouncing matters, Civil recovery cases, Property Disputes etc.
Ms. Kanika Kimothi
Ms. Kanika Kimothi is a Graduate in Law and enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi.
